Imperator Furiosa and The Wives

I fucking loved 'Mad Max: Fury Road'!!! Max is not even the main character in this movie, that title goes to Imperator Furiosa. She's the woman of action. Also kicking ass, the five wives: Toast the Knowing, The Splendid Angharad, Capable, The Dag, and Cheedo the Fragile.  Thank you, George Miller, for making this incredible film!

One last thought: Whenever you're complaining about your age, just remember that a 70-year-old dude made 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and it was awesome.

Pepsi Is Asking For Free Creative Work

Beware of Pepsi's worldwide "Live For Now Design Challenge"!

This is what some companies do in order to avoid hiring professional graphic designers and save big bucks.

Pepsi will receive thousands of free creative ideas and will only choose the one they like. The winner will only receive a trip to New York and the "opportunity" to meet the Pepsi design team. Sure, provided that the selected creative waives all rights for the use of the design as well as royalties. Pepsi will deem the winning design as "work for hire" but they will not pay.

Always read the fine print and don't give away your work for free, guys!

¡Cuidado con el concurso mundial de Pepsi, "Live For Now Design Challenge"! 

Esto es lo que hacen algunas empresas para no contratar a diseñadores gráficos profesionales y ahorrarse muchos dólares.

Pepsi va a recibir miles de ideas creativas gratis y va a escoger la que más le guste. El ganador sólo va a recibir un viaje a Nueva York y la "oportunidad" de conocer al equipo de diseño. Claro, con la condición de que el creativo seleccionado renuncie a todos los derechos de uso del diseño, así como regalías. Pepsi considerará el diseño ganador como "trabajo por encargo" pero no lo va a pagar. 

¡Siempre lean la letra pequeña y no regalen su trabajo!
